Sillon is preparing a pilot to build that pathway between rural communities and local institutions, starting in Togo.
A farmer doesn't need another report to know the seasons are changing.
She needs a way for what she knows to reach someone who can act on it.
Too often, decisions on food, energy, and rural livelihoods are made without the experience of the people who live them first, not for lack of goodwill, but because no structured pathway exists between the two.

This is not an awareness campaign or a one-off consultation. It's a mechanism designed to produce real institutional follow-through, and we are going to test whether it works.
We are starting in Togo.
Not because the challenge ends there, but because meaningful systems change has to start somewhere specific.
An initiative at the design stage
Sillon is an initiative at the design stage. We are building partnerships, refining the method, and seeking initial funding to launch the pilot. Nothing is proven yet: that's precisely what we intend to test, with transparency about what works and what doesn't.
Climate resilience needs more than good ideas. It needs better connections between the people who know and the people who decide.
